Fusion PPE Donates Critical PPE to the Police Force in Avalon, NJ – The “Cooler By A Mile” Island
This year National Police Week took place from Sunday, May 10 to May 16, 2020. The week honors police officers for their brave efforts and dedication to keeping this country safe.
In recognition of the week, our founder Mark Rubino brought personal protective equipment to Patrolman Matthew Ardelean and Captain John Roscoe of the Avalon NJ Police Department. Included in the donation was Fusion PPE’s exclusive Microbe Safety Masks™, 3-Ply Disposable Face Masks and Hand Pump Sanitizers. These items were greatly appreciated as the officers prepared for the opening of their “Cooler by a Mile” beach destination on Memorial Day Weekend.
Mark spends many weekends in the summer “down-the-shore” in Avalon, NJ with his family who have become integral members of the community.

As summer approaches, the Avalon NJ Police Department plans to safely reopen the island. The police force prepares to maintain and enforce proper social distancing practices to protect the visitors, residents, and community members of Avalon from the spread of Covid-19. Fusion PPE hopes this donation will help Avalon’s police officers carry out their important duties.
