Mark A. Rubino | Founder and President

Mark Rubino is a healthcare sales and operations executive with more than 30 years of experience. Currently, Mark is the President of Fusion Healthcare Solutions, LLC, an established durable medical equipment and orthopedic distributor that has been a trusted name in the medical industry serving, hospitals, surgery centers, nursing homes, home health agencies and physician offices since 2009. Fusion Healthcare Solutions continues to innovate in the healthcare sector by evolving and adapting to serve healthcare market demands. The company has a combined workforce of more than 45 independent and fulltime Healthcare Sales Representatives, plus administrative staff serving the entire country.

In March of 2020, to help resolve the shortage of Personal Protection Equipment “PPE”, Mark co-founded Fusion PPE, a division of Fusion Healthcare Solutions, which sources and distributes life-saving medical equipment and supplies to protect healthcare workers, first responders, business owners and individuals. Mark designed and implemented Pathway to Protection™, a proprietary product methodology developed to assist businesses in identifying the critical paths of their infrastructures, which require PPE. Fusion PPE regularly donates critical PPE and products to organizations and individuals nationwide through their charitable organization, Funding Useful Safety Equipment, “FUSE.”

Mark has successfully launched three medical device distribution companies and possesses a broad understanding of durable medical equipment, surgical and aesthetic products and their prospective distribution channels. Prior to Fusion Healthcare Solutions, Mark founded MedX, Inc. a surgical, aesthetic and laser device business which served a multitude of physicians specialties, including OBGYNs, Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists and Orthopedic Surgeons.

Mark began his career at Medical Alliance, a medical startup,  where he was a District Manager and later on Vice President of Sales and Operations.  Medical Alliance was ultimately sold to ICN Pharmaceuticals, where Mark was retained as National Sales Director to lead the organization’s new sales division.

Throughout his career Mark, has achieved multimillion-dollar sales and operational results and has an outstanding record of financial stewardship by building high performance teams, turning around divisions, exceeding personal goals, and coaching and mentoring staff. He is a successful business leader, who builds longstanding relationships and profitable alliances within startup, acquisition, and turnaround environments. He has the exceptional ability to identify opportunities, capture new markets, and increase overall profits.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Psychology at Elizabethtown College and is a resident of Newtown Square, Pa.

Matt Hurley | Co-Founder and Vice President

Matt Hurley is a healthcare sales and operations executive with more than 25 years of experience. He is the co-founder and vice president of Fusion PPE that ethically sources and distributes life-saving medical equipment and supplies to protect healthcare workers, first responders, business owners, and individuals during the Coronavirus pandemic. Matt and his partner launched Fusion PPE in March 2020 to help resolve the shortage of personal protective equipment, and designed Pathway to Protection, a proprietary guideline on product recommendations for business owners to safeguard themselves and their patrons. Fusion PPE regularly donates products to organizations and individuals nationwide to support those impacted by Covid-19.

Matt has successfully launched two medical device companies and possesses a broad understanding of surgical and aesthetic products and their distribution. He has experience working directly with OBGYN’s, ENT’s, Orthopedics, General Surgeons, Urologists, Podiatrists, Dermatologists, Plastic/Cosmetic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Internal Medicine Doctors, General Practitioners, Pediatricians, Pulmonary, Wound Care, Long-term Care, Hospitals, Administrators, and C- Level Contacts at both private and public companies.

Prior to Fusion Healthcare Solutions and Fusion PPE, Matt worked Stanley Works Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, as a National Account Manager for their Healthcare Division. Before that, he was a Senior Account Executive for a leading Pharmaceutical Company Glaxo Smith Kline where he achieved multiple Presidential Club Award accolades. He began his career working with his current business partner as a key contributor in an innovative start-up medical equipment company. 

Matt has multi-million sales results and an outstanding record of client retention and client referral. He is a successful business leader who consistently exceeds both sales revenue and net income/ profitability growth goals. He has the exceptional ability to identify new opportunities, capture competitor market share, expand and retain existing opportunities, and increase market-share and profitability.

Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing at Elizabethtown College and was inducted into the Elizabethtown Sports Hall of Fame for Wrestling. He is a resident of West Chester, PA.
